A Framingham man smashed a cell phone over his wife’s head on Wednesday during an argument, police said. — Luis Gonzales, 31, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. at his 50 Bethany Road home, police Officer Richard Fuer said in a report filed yesterday in Framingham District Court. — Gonzales’ 35-year-old wife called police at 5:20 p.m. to report the assault. Two suspected invaders charged with forgery

After an extensive investigation by Cape Girardeau authorities, two employees of local Mexican restaurants were arrested in late June — and two others are wanted — based on allegations they gained employment with the use of false documents. — According to officer Darin Hickey, Tereso Salinas, 30, and Francisca Salinas-Carmona, 30, are undocumented immigrants and signed tax forms with improper information to get hired. Each person used an invalid visa or Social Security card, Hickey said. — Warrants were issued for their arrests in April. Stanton — A Huntington Beach man is facing felony battery charges after police say he knocked another man unconscious during an argument at a Stanton night club, leaving the victim on life-support with head trauma that may prove fatal.
