Federal immigration authorities say they have returned a Guatemalan man living in Providence, who was wanted in his home country for homicide, kidnapping and escaping prison. — Forty-nine-year-old Alfredo Carrillo was handed over Thursday by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official in Guatemala. — ICE says Carrillo was arrested December 30, 2011 by North Providence police and later identified through the Secure Communities program. Under the program, fingerprints of local detainees are shared with immigration authorities. — North Providence police Capt. Paul Ricci says Carrillo gave the name Feliberto Lopez when he was stopped for a driving issue.
