Birmingham, Ala. — A federal judge unleashed Alabama’s immigration law Wednesday and Etowah County deputies have first used it to arrest a man from Yemen. It happened during a drug raid Friday morning. — There were three men in the residence. One man from Yemen was identified as in the U.S. on a work visa. He had his proper papers. Another said he was born in Yemen, but had been granted U.S. citizenship and had his documents. The third had no papers.
