Invaders arrested at South Windsor business

Eight East Hartford residents were to appear today and Wednesday in immigration court after they were stopped by federal authorities and South Windsor police on their way to work. — The group was stopped in the driveway of Nutmeg Recycling on Rye Street on Feb. 20 by federal and local police, acting on a tip that there would be cocaine in the minivan and that they were involved in drug dealing and human trafficking. — There were no drugs or evidence of human trafficking, police said. After being detained for about an hour, the eight went to work at the recycling plant.
