Mexican grabbed with over 12 pounds of cocaine at checkpoint

U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a 48-year-old Mexican citizen who had 12.32 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than $394,000 Friday at the U.S. Highway 54 checkpoint south of Alamogordo, a Border Patrol spokeswoman said. — Border Patrol agent Melissa M.
