Another obnoxious Mexican sentenced for federal immigration violation

Beaumont — A 35-year-old Mexican national has been sentenced to federal prison for immigration violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today. — Everado Espinosa-Medina pleaded guilty on Oct. 21, 2011, to illegally reentering the United States after having been previously deported, and was sentenced today to 14 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Marcia Crone. According to information presented in court, on Apr. 18, 2011, the defendant was arrested in Liberty County for traffic violations.  An investigation into his immigration status revealed he had been previously deported to Mexico on three separate occasions; Mar. 27, 1999, Dec. 22, 2005, and Sep. 15, 2009… Read More
