Irish invader gets 12 years for New Jersey bank robberies

A Superior Court judge sentenced an illegal [alien] from Ireland to a total of 12 years in prison this morning in connection with two Morris County bank robberies in 2007 and 2010. — As part of Superior Court Judge David Ironson’s sentence Alan Nolan, 39 — who admitted to robbing a total of $57,513 from the two banks — must serve 85 percent before becoming eligible for parole. — Nolan pleaded guilty last month to taking $11,302 from the Bank of New York in Wharton in 2007 and $46,211 from the Chase Bank in Randolph in 2010. — Nolan, who had been living in Boonton, was arrested in 2010 in connection the Wharton robbery after he was identified through the bank’s surveillance video, according to a spokesman for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office… Read More
