Three Cedartown men have been arrested and are facing drug trafficking charges as the result of a federal investigation into an organized drug ring responsible for moving multiple pounds of methamphetamine through the Cedartown area on a weekly basis. — The Cedartown Police Department, in a joint investigation along with the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), Polk County Sheriff’s Office, City of Rome Police Department, Bartow County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) worked on the case together to uncover a drug trafficking ring that they believed were supplying a large quantity of methamphetamine to Northwest Georgia and Alabama… Read More
