Cops bust human smuggling operation

San Antonio police say they’ve broken up an alleged human smuggling operation not far from the heart of downtown. — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers had 20 victims in custody Monday. — Police received a call for suspicious vehicles parked outside a residence in the 200 block of Southolme Avenue just after 1:20 a.m. Monday. — Investigators found 20 victims of human smuggling [clients] inside the residence.
