Home invasion investigation leads to discovery of invader stash house

A home invasion investigation in Mission led police to discover an immigrant stash house early Monday morning. — Two men and a woman entered a home in the 500 block of S. Mile Road with baseball bats and guns a little after midnight Monday, said Martin Garza, assistant police chief. The home invaders injured the nose of one of the home’s residents. — Police responded and caught a fourth man who they believe was the getaway driver. — A purse left in the man’s car led officers from Mission and the Sherriff’s Office to search the home of and arrest the female subject.
