The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office and N.C. Alcohol Law Enforcement busted a counterfeit document operation in Burlington on Thursday after a two month investigation. — The two-month investigation of alleged trafficking in stolen identities and manufacturing fraudulent began with tips from the community, and included undercover operations, according to a news release. — Authorities made one arrest and have drawn warrants against second person who is not in custody. — A search warrant was served at 1160 Wyatt Road, Lot E2, Burlington, where officers seized fraudulent resident alien cards and counterfeit Social Security cards, as well as computer equipment, printers and other items used in the manufacture of fraudulent identifications… Read More
