Irishman caught trying to flee U.S. after hit-and-run crash

Media, Pa. — An Irish citizen who investigators say was trying to flee the country following a hit-and-run crash has pleaded guilty to charges in suburban Philadelphia. — The Delaware County Daily Times reports 28-year-old Damian Crossan pleaded guilty Monday to a pair of third-degree felonies stemming from the February 2 crash that injured a woman in Upper Darby. — Crossan, who the paper says has lived in the U.S. for five years, was arrested several days later on board a flight that was departing for Ireland from John F.
